Dollar Lake Provincial Park

The Dollar Lake Provincial Park is located approximately 20km east of the Halifax International Airport on Route 212.
Situated on a large lake not far from the Musquodoboit Valley, it is the perfect escape.  The quiet woodland setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities, including camping, boating, canoeing, water-skiiing and fishing.  A beautiful sandy beach at the north end of the lake offers fresh water swimming.
This Park is open from late June to mid October.  It has 119 woodland campsites, a picnic area, boat launch and trailer dump station.  The main beach is supervised during the peak season.  The smaller "campers" beach is unsupervised.
Although there are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground.  Accessible flush toilets and shower facilities are also available.
